The process of creating a BAKE chocolate dessert starts well before the blending of ingredients in the kitchen. Chocolate-making is as intricate an art as that of creating a fine wine.
BAKE sources its raw chocolate from French premium chocolate maker Valrhona, which has its own secret method for roasting and blending the cocoa beans. The beans, in turn, have been selected from the world’s most renowned and distinctive cacao plantations.
WOW! Chocolate’s foremost ingredient is Guanaja dark chocolate cream, named after the Caribbean island where Christopher Columbus landed in 1502, which has an intense, rich and lingering taste.
The Jivara milk chocolate cream used to make the Crispy Log, meanwhile, comes from exceptionally aromatic and powerful beans chosen from the Forasteros plantations of Central America. Its characteristic flavour, with caramel and vanilla notes, makes Jivara a highly sought-after product for chocolate connoisseurs.
