Grapes and Grazing Week

Unique Grapes and Grazing InvitationUnique Grapes and Grazing Invitation

Experience a connoisseur journey that is unique to Phuket’s northern shore from 13 – 16 July 2011. Hideaway in exclusive seclusion in a private Pool Villa at Anantara Phuket, benefiting from our special rate, extra privileges and an invitation to a distinctive gastronomic event.

In partnership with the North Phuket Resorts Association and designed to transform Mai Khao Beach into a gourmet’s paradise for four consecutive days, the Grapes and Grazing wine dinner events bring together sought after vintages from around the world with creative culinary expertise.

As part of this refined sequence, on 16th of July 2011 Anantara Phuket Villas is proudly hosting a fine wine dinner in which Kathy-Lee Bird, wine maker from Spy Valley Wines in New Zealand, will offer intriguing insights and exclusive tasting of their range of Marlborough region wines. The five wines presented will be complemented by our hand created menu, matched perfectly by Executive Chef Justin Maiklem.

Spy Valley Winery is situated on the sunny southern side of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, nestled on the terraces of the Omaka river. Bryan and Jan Johnson established the first of their 380 acres of estate vineyards in 1993, with vintages from 2000 produced and sold under the Spy Valley label, while the Envoy range of wines was released in 2007 and represents small parcel wine production from specific vineyard sites off Johnson family estate vineyards.
