Angsana Laguna Phuket’s Executive Chef Mirko Cappa recently announced the debut of Bodega & Grill Restaurant new lunch and dinner menus, featuring time-honoured Mediterranean and Italian fare.Chef Mirko promises a wealth of mouth watering dishes including Coffin Bay Oysters, Signature Bodega “Panzanella” Salad, and Double Stew Lamb Shank on Soft Polenta and Gremolada.

The menu embodies Chef Mirko’s talent for presenting complex flavours between Mediterranean and Italian dishes, bringing freshness and vitality. Guests can indulge in the unique twists of the dishes and high-quality ingredients. To complement Chef Mirko’s beautifully constructed menus; guests can enhance the meal with an extensive selection of wine from around the world to match the dishes.

The menu features a large selection of starters that include signature dishes such as succulent goose liver, 18 months aged Burrata cheese and Coffin Bay oysters. These extravagant culinary delights stand alongside classic entrees such as a Carpaccio of Porterhouse beef and Phuket Lobster or a duo of Yellow Fin tuna and Norwegian salmon tartar. The fried Mozzarella Caprese, a playful twist on a traditional dish, as well as the collection of flavourful pastas and risottos show chef Mirko’s Mediterranean roots.

Meat lovers and seafood aficionados alike are spoilt for choice as the menu features an abundant array of tantalising seafood dishes as well as a selection of the finest meats, which include Wagyu beef, Manitoba Bison, and more. Renowned for their quality and tenderness, the succulent steaks, rib eyes and filet mignons are grilled to perfection and accompanied by scrumptious vegetable side dishes that complement the rich, buttery taste of the most sought after meats in the world. The menu furthermore graces an assortment of fresh seafood that includes delicacies such as rock lobster, king prawns and Okkaido scallops.

To end the meal on an even higher note, guests can choose from a range of rich desserts. Chocolate lovers are in for a treat as the menu includes a chocolate and chestnut cake with cinnamon rum sauce, and a crispy Espresso-infused Sicilian cannolo filled with sweet ricotta cheese, dried fruit and white and dark chocolate sauce. Other desserts are the signature Bodega cheese cake and chef Mirko’s tiramisu.
