Khao Niew Mamuang
Sticky Rice with Mango
- 2 cups sticky rice
- 3-5 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 pandanus leaf
- 1 fresh mango
- Soak sticky rice in water for 2 hours and steam around 25-30 minutes.
- While steaming the rice, preheat the coconut milk with crushed pandanus leaf, sugar and salt. Let it boil.
- After 25-30 minutes turn the sticky rice over and cook again 25-30 minutes.
- After it is cooked, combine with coconut milk and let sit for it 15-20 minutes.
- Serve with sliced mango.
