Despite its name, the Mongolian buffet originated not in Mongolia, but in Taiwan in the early 1970s. This stir fry technique sees meats and vegetables cooked with a variety of sauces in a large iron griddle.
The KEE Kitchen’s Mongolian Express Buffet table is set up with many different raw vegetables and thinly sliced raw meats; choose your ingredients and assemble them in a large bowl. Pass your bowl on to Chef Sonthaya who will then add the mouthwatering sauces and spices and toss it around on the grill until cooked. He will then transfer it onto a clean dish which will then be served back to you. This buffet allows you to create a “stir-fry” dish to your own liking, and because it’s an all you can eat buffet you can make as many tips as you like and try a range of combinations.
