The Nap Patong is a modern minimalist designed hotel with a chic and stylish ambiance. Due to the fact that the proprietors are proud of Phuket’s heritage, there are subtle hints of Phuket to be found throughout the hotel. This is especially the case with their “76 Bar Drink & Dine”. The restaurant offers a trendy and casual atmosphere and its interior and exteriors design are based on a unique blend of Phuket. Firstly, the name “76” reflects the 076 telephone area code for Phuket and the natural rubber trees which adorn the walls are a reminder of the island’s former days as the rubber producing centre for Thailand.
It is even carried through as far as the colour of the seating; with the turquoise cushions reflecting the colour of the Andaman Sea. It is these small hints that attract your attention and certainly helps you to soak up the atmosphere.
The 76 Bar Drink and Dine is separated over two levels and offers both air-conditioned and open air elements with a water feature being the main backdrop. When you enter via the bar via the walk way you will be greeted by the large bar with its cool and ambient lighting. Be sure to stop at the bar and watch amazed as the mixologist prepares you one of “76 Bar Drink & Dine’s” colourful signature alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktails. On the alcoholic side, we would highly recommend their “76 dream” and on the moch – tail side a “Coco Colada”.
There is a great range of drinks to choose from and “76 Bar Drink & Dine” offers two daily happy hours, the first between 4.00pm – 7.00pm, the second being from 10.00pm until midnight, both offering special price drinks which really should not be missed.
On the food side of things, “76 Bar Drink & dine’s” Executive Chef Wuttisak Wuttiamporn, has prepared a unique menu which includes a vast variety of Thai dishes and over 100 international dishes. For those who like to watch what they eat, the chef has also created a special “Go Green” menu which offers the ultimate in healthy food.
