TRISARA RECOGNISED WITH AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN WINE SPECTATOR’S RESTAURANT WINE LIST AWARDS

TRISARA World-renowned destination, Trisara, has been recognised with the Award of Excellence in Wine Spectators Restaurant Wine List Awards, further cementing its position as a premier culinary destination in the Asia.

Over the past year, the variety and quality of the wine offered at Trisara has undertaken significant and substantial growth. This has culminated in Trisara being able to offer over 235 wine labels and a cellar boasting in excess of 2,000 bottles. The wine list has been integrated onto iPads, available for guests to use at the bar when viewing the list and individual labels, including tasting notes and recommendations. The philosophy when creating the wine list was to offer a tool for helping guests to navigate the extensive wine list by categorizing the wines through their grape varietal and structure.

New features also include a stunning wine cellar in the newly renovated Bar at Trisara, where cool sea breezes envelope the stunning lounges amid the exquisite finishes, white tavertine and teak floors and the best views of the sunset on Phuket. All wines, including wines served by the glass, are maintained in the highest condition with the Le Verre de Vin preservation system, with wines resting in proper storage and air-conditioned facilities.

Trisara’s talented culinary team create food with a simple execution that utilises the fine and abundant local produce. Accenting the flavour and integrity of the local produce is the key to a wine list that is carefully designed for Trisara’s discerning guests. The wine list was created to compliment specific menu choices, including the Islands’ most refined Tapas and Dessert menu. The emphasis on selecting the best of both the old world and new wines has created a selection that satisfies the most particular connoisseurs with the large variety of wines by the glass, as well as guests who simply want a crisp rosé from the Luberon with their black truffle pizza.

Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Wine List Awards recognise restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.
